Barbara worked as a Business Development Manager on the road travelling the Central Queensland area for over 5 years. She worked out of a car most days and motels were her second home. Now working virtually from her home office in Bundaberg since 2015, she was able to use those transferable skills helping clients with her BDM experience. Barbara has also worked as a Business & Marketing Manager back in her corporate days, so the transition has been easy. Barbara is experienced in meeting KPI’s, writing reports and proposals, looking after clients social media, co-ordinating meetings, identifying business opportunities, plus so much more.
Barbara has qualifications in Business Management and Marketing and was the winner of the Vocational Student of the Year in 2008 & 2009. She has a trade background in ‘Composition’, what is classified as typography, graphic design, but her real love is marketing, sales and business.

I’m an ambitious, driven workaholic, independent (almost middle age) woman, yes 50 is approaching (unfortunately). Seriously, I love what I do, I’m creative, love the outdoors, 4WD driving in ‘My Beast’, the beach, gardening, upcycling & painting vintage furniture and living off the land and eating delicious wholesome food straight from my own vegie garden. Keeping fit is extremely important to me as we all get older (no magic potion to reverse the years, pity)
Boring I know, I enjoy my own company, love animals, been a carer to my parents since I was young (my dad was 60, when I was created), hence I never knew any different when growing up with older parents and being surrounded by lots of music to the tunes of ‘Frank Sinatra, Shirley Bassey, Elvis Presley and a bit of Michael Jackson too’. My parents taught me good moral values and I try to bestow this in my own business and what I do each day.
So that is me in a nutshell (the short version, anyway!)
